About Us
The firm was established in 1997 with a focus on medical malpractice litigation. In addition to medical malpractice, the attorneys in the firm represent persons with claims for serious bodily injury or death caused by the negligence of others, and plaintiffs in business and contract disputes. In 2008, the firm became known as Garau Germano Hanley & Pennington, P.C. The firm has five attorneys: Jerry Garau, Barbara Germano, Marshall Hanley, Deborah Pennington, and Shan Bryant-Haase. Our experienced staff includes three full-time registered nurses who assist with case investigation.

The firm has made an annual commitment to local organizations which help those in need including the Julian Center, CHIP, the Jackson Center, Samantha's House, and Miracle Ride.
