Deborah K. Pennington
Deborah Pennington has devoted her legal career to representing injured patients in the state of Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University in 1973. Deborah obtained a masters degree in 1976 and her law degree in 1980 from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After her admission to the bar in Michigan in 1981, Deborah relocated to Indiana and was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1982. She has been admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Claims.
Deborah entered private practice in Indiana with Montgomery Elsner & Pardieck, a premier general practice and litigation firm in Seymour, Indiana. She left this firm to follow Roger Pardieck in establishing a personal injury and litigation firm that became known as Pardieck Gill & Pennington. In 1987, Deborah joined the firm of Tabor Fels & Tabor in Indianapolis and focused her career on the representation of injured patients. Deborah joined the law firm of Price & Barker in 1993 where she soon became a partner. In 1997, Deborah and four other attorneys created a new law firm focused on representing victims of medical malpractice. That firm is now known as Garau Germano Hanley & Pennington, P.C., and is located in Indianapolis.
Deborah is a member of the Johnson County and Indiana State Bar Associations, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. For almost thirty years, Deborah has represented injured patients throughout the state of Indiana.
